The reason it happens is that lcg-info just queries against the o=grid
root of the LDAP tree, so it sees both the site branch
(mds-vo-name=<site-name>) and the top branch (mds-vo-name=local). You
could maybe say that it's a bug and lcg-info should only query the
top-level bdii, but in some cases it may be useful to use it with a site
bdii.

If it's a real problem you could put in a savannah bug to ask for
lcg-info to behave differently. Or you can use ldapsearch where you can
specify exactly what you want to query. Or for a quick fix it looks like
you can just modify the lcg-info code, change the line
my $base = 'o=grid'
to
my $base = 'mds-vo-name=local,o=grid'
(I haven't tested that so I don't promise it will work!).

PS BDIIs also have an mds-vo-name=resource branch to publish information
about themselves, so potentially you could get that three times ...
