Hi *,
I have this for a long time already, but now it came back to my mind:
We run a machine "grid-bdii.physik.uni-wuppertal.de" here which acts
as toplevel and site_bdii. The reason was that we had a small network
connection some time ago, so the answer times from our Tier-1 were too
long when the network was saturated.
If I know query our local BDII for some information, I always get the
answer twice:
[15:43] harenber@grid-ui:~ $ lcg-info --list-se --query SE=grid-
se.physik.uni-wuppertal.de --attr Protocol
- SE: grid-se.physik.uni-wuppertal.de
- Protocol gsidcap
gsiftp
gsiftp
gsidcap
gsiftp
gsidcap
gsiftp
gsidcap
- SE: grid-se.physik.uni-wuppertal.de
- Protocol gsidcap
gsiftp
gsiftp
gsidcap
gsiftp
gsidcap
gsiftp
gsidcap
while using our Tier-1s BDII, it is correct.
[15:48] harenber@grid-ui:~ $ export LCG_GFAL_INFOSYS=bdii-
fzk.gridka.de:2170
[15:48] harenber@grid-ui:~ $ lcg-info --list-se --query SE=grid-
se.physik.uni-wuppertal.de --attr Protocol
- SE: grid-se.physik.uni-wuppertal.de
- Protocol gsiftp
gsidcap
gsiftp
gsidcap
Is there an easy way to solve this problem?
Thanks for any hint and best regards,
Torsten
