With apologies for the extremely short notice, but please see below. The focus of this workshop is to identify ways to improve the deposit experience for users, in ways that are very likely to be taken up widely.
Best wishes
Neil Jacobs (JISC)
JISC is hosting an event in London on Monday October 12th with several key developers and stakeholders to help inform future work (JISC will be funding) to see author deposit tools enhanced and embedded on the author's .ac.uk desktop.
The day will consist of show and tells throughout the morning of deposit applications that have already been created and tools and services that can facilitate repository deposit.
The afternoon will be round table group discussions, mock prototyping projects that would further build and distribute the next generation of deposit tools to specific end users.
We currently have 20 spaces left and welcome anyone to come along who has an interest in repository deposit.
For more information please go to http://bit.ly/DepositShowAndTell
If you would like to come along, please email me at [log in to unmask] and I shall add you to our list..
Kind Regards,
Julian Cheal
