SCRIBAL CULTURE IN ITALY, 1450-1650
Details of Workshop 5 (of 6) in the AHRC-funded series, planned to shed light on the still under-researched topic of scribal culture in Italy, are given below. These workshops are open to all and we welcome participation by all those interested in early modern Italy and in the history of the book in early modern Europe, and by librarians, curators and palaeographers. There is a small number of postgraduate bursaries to cover all or part of the cost of attendance. There is no charge for attendance but space is limited. To reserve a place or for more information, please contact Filippo de Vivo ([log in to unmask]) or Brian Richardson ([log in to unmask]). For abstracts of the papers and further information on the project, see www.bbk.ac.uk/hca/about/conferences/scribalculture
