Post-doctoral position on the neuroimaging of emotional awareness in
adolescents in the laboratories of Dr. Kevin LaBar and Dr. Nancy Zucker at
Duke University. Opportunity for a dynamic and integrative research
experience combining fMRI, psychophysiology, and behavioral approaches.
State-of-the-art facilities include 2 research-dedicated 3T GE MRI scanners
with concurrent autonomic psychophysiology recording. Research will focus
on individual differences in interoceptive signaling in the GI tract and
other peripheral physiologies in healthy controls and anorexia nervosa. We
are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in brain imaging.
Interested parties must hold a PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or
a related field. This position is supported by ARRA stimulus funding that
