So far only 8 people responded. This is too little.
It might be seen as a burden to answer the survey but it one way to get
disability studies voices heard.
So far I received the most answers from rehab circles and although their
voice is important I want also other voices to be represented.
This mail will also go to Disability research listserve (UK) and SDS
listserve as I assume not everyone is on all three. For the ones who
receive a duplication I apologize
So here the write up
Dear respondents,
I am a faculty member in community rehabilitation and disability studies
at the University of Calgary, Canada who has a Social Science and
Humanity grant to look at impact and governance of enhancement
technologies especially as they relates to disabled people. The purpose
of this survey is to better understand a)which nanoscale science and
technology products and processes one should focussed on in general b)
which nanoscale science and technology products and processes one should
focussed on in regards to disabled people and in health and well being,
c) the increasing ability of nanoscale science and technology processes
and products to enhance the human body beyond the 'normal' and d) the
impact if any of the increasing ability of nanoscale science and
technology processes and products to enhance the human body beyond the
'normal' on especially disabled people
The link to the online survey can be found here https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=4IYzbONZN1WgSYTmDmgACQ_3d_3d
I would be very grateful if you could give me your thoughts by answering
the survey.
It might take you like 40 minutes but as long as you do it on the same
computer you can interrupt and when you go back to it it should start
where you stopped.
The study received ethics approval by the Faculty of Medicine.
Thank you soo much

Cheers
