An NIH funded post-doctoral position is available immediately to
investigate the mechanisms of action of riboswitches and ribozymes.
Primary experimental methods include: X-ray crystallography, kinetics,
small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), synthetic organic chemistry, protein
purification, dynamic light scattering, and molecular biology. Qualified
candidates must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related
field.
Prior experience with X-ray crystallography is preferred. Post-doctoral
fellows will have an opportunity to work with other trainees and staff
members in a modern research setting with excellent resources. Travel
opportunities are available for data collection, and to present
