i ended up looking at DAN (the 300 book work with Lawrence Upton)
although i contextualized that emergence in Bob's earlier practice

Bob was pretty much a kind of second dad to me from the mid 70s until
his death
somebody i knew was "there" for so many of us
i have to say though that what he did is morphing into many wonderful
younger poets and peers
not the same vibe at all. and that's a good thing btw
