[Apologies to all - I now realise I am duplicating the comments of
Darrell Newton but perhaps that it helpful for Stephen]
Dear Stephen,
I wonder if there is another aspect of the Iranian experience you could
write about? It seems rather unfortunate to
have to abandon this work. Have you asked Dr Torfeh if she feels there
are other aspects of this situation to
which she has not done justice?
I dont' know much about this but what happened in the twenty years after
the revolution? Those you have
interviewed could probably comment on this as well. What about reporting
on the Iranian people? Was there
any? Were they constructed solely as brave and in opposition to their
government? Perhaps there might be
space for an article on how the BBC constructed other peoples?
Sorry this is not my area but perhaps others might have suggestions.
Regards,
Hera
