This chap needs access to the full phone network. Am I right in
thinking that Skype only links to Skype? If a "softphone" means using
the pc as the phone via 3g, then that could be ideal. Tell me more.

just use a soft phone or even skype or similar, along with a 3g

Can anyone tell me of an application that would let a pc link to mobile
phone (by Bluetooth?) & let the user answer the phone by pc? Preferably
dialling via pc too.
I'm sure this must be out there but I can't find it!
