Monday 16 November: IMPROVING STATISTICAL EDUCATION IN THE WORKPLACE
The workshops for the workplace day are designed so that participants can share experiences with providing courses and training for improving the statistical education and literacy of people in the workplace. Lessons learned and subsequent actions will be discussed. The objectives will be to plan how the statistical community in general, and the Royal Statistical Society in particular, can help to improve statistical education in the workplace.

Tuesday 17 November: IMPROVING STATISTICAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS
There are several parallel sessions on topics that include: data visualisation;data handling experiences in primary school; use of Autograph; CensusAtSchool; RowingAtSchool; CPD for schoolteachers; teaching and learning risk; the new Extended Project in schools; ecological footprints; Takeshi’s Castle; and playing with statistics.

Wednesday 18 November: SOFTWARE FOR IMPROVING STATISTICAL EDUCATION
The workshops are designed for discussion of ways to use software to improve statistical education. It is an opportunity to attend workshops on specialist software for statistics teaching. At the end of the day there will be an open discussion about how commercial and open source software can best used to improve statistical education.

Friday 20 November: CEREMONY AND RECEPTION
To re-launch the RSS Centre for Statistical Education at the University of Plymouth from 2pm.
There will be a food and ood and drinks reception at 5pm following the ceremony.
