So which of our hospital specialities are the group who uses the term
"Casualty" most?
In my place it is neck & neck between Orthopaedics (orthogods) and
Physicians ("see the survivors on the post-take ward round" group), with
Surgeons ("how dare you cancel my electives for horrible emergency
cases") close behind!

As far as the public, politicians and the rest of the profession are
aware, we are still known as "casualty".
