Helo bawb
Rwy'n chwilio am gyfieithiad ar gyfer y term uchod. Gweler y disgrifiad ar
waelod y neges.
Dyw 'adeilad gwag' ddim yn dweud digon (mae'n rhaid gwahaniaethu
rhwng 'vacant' a 'derelict') ac rwy'n credu bod dweud 'adeilad adfeiliedig' yn
rhy gryf o bosibl (hynny yw, nid 'ruin' yw e)...
Byddai 'adeilad anghyfannedd' yn anhgyfarwydd i lawer iawn o bobl.
Cafodd 'adeilad segur' ei awgrymu ond o edrych ar Google rwy'n meddwl mai
am 'unused building' y defnyddir y term hwnnw. Dyma rai cynigion posibl:
adeilad wedi'i esgeuluso
adeilad gwag wedi'i dirywio
adeilad gwag dirywiedig
adeilad anghyfannedd wedi'i dirywio
Dyma ddiffiniad:
A derelict building is an empty building which shows no signs that it is being
converted or renovated. It may not always be easy to tell the difference
between a derelict and vacant property. The deciding fact is whether the
property is suitable for anyone to live in.
If any of the floors, staircase, entrance doors or roof are partly or completely
missing the property is probably derelict.
A property that has been boarded up to prevent vandalism or occupation by
squatters is considered to be vacant, and not derelict.
Diolch yn fawr
