Sorry I missed it, sounds like a really lively event, but I was taking
an early night and trying to convince myself it's only a cold and not
the 'flu, H1N1 or otherwise.
But Karla's comment caught my eye. I hardly ever see my avatar when
I'm building. In fact, I was building for a friend one day last week
and didn't notice when she pushed me off the edge of the land and into
the water using a school bus (with friends like...!). But I didn't
notice because my camera POV was about 40m away, looking at the wall
on which I was sorting out textures. Couldn't see my avatar through
two external and one internal walls! Although the precise details
might change, I hardly ever see my avatar, naked or otherwise, whilst
building just because my POV is so far away. So I was wondering if
anyone else routinely sees their avatar whilst they're building?
