Just like to apologize for my outburst, I do feel that technology can
aid in help the working day, however we have just had a visit from
Government Office for the North West who wished to audit the Projects
that I administer and I suggested I could supply them with CD or Memory
Sticks and the answer was, NO GOOD OLD FASHIONED HARD COPY FROM THE
FILE...
So for me Paper Rules O.K.
So anything that discusses paper is fine by me.
By the way I still in some cases use parchment mind the Sheep don't like
it!!

Hi All,
Everyone seems to be on a very different page to me - I feel light years
behind as most of my records are stored in boxes, not electronically.
Am I the only one out there with paper records????
Not sure this helps with topics for future meetings, but please can my
situation be considered?
Thanks
Regards
Elaine

Just wondered if people would be willing to come forward with any
burning
ideas for our quarterly meetings next year?
Something I am mulling over is a day dedicated to Knowledge
Management/Information Management so we could have a clearer idea about
what they are about and how they interrelate [or not] with records
management.
Another idea is taking a look at what records managers do and what it is
perceived that we do possibly with a facilitator to challenge some of
our ideas
and take us out of our comfort zones.
What other ideas are out there?
