***********************************************
AI-2009 is the latest in the leading series of UK-based international conferences on
Artificial Intelligence run by the BCS Specialist Group on AI. In 2007 we launched the
Forum for AI Research Students to support student members of the AI community, and
repeated the event in 2008. SGAI is again offering this event at AI-2009. This event
offers a full day of
workshops and presentations and is FREE TO STUDENTS.
A one day event, FREE OF CHARGE to students, offering PhD and MRes/MPhil
students in AI fields:
* Guidance on conducting research and writing their thesis
* Feedback on research plans
* Advice on undergoing the viva
* The chance to meet other research students and develop networks
* An opportunity to discuss their work with senior researchers and practitioners
Deadline for applications: November 23rd 2009
Overview

related fields to present their research and receive feedback from senior scholars in the

workshops and tutorials.
