I'm not 100% sure, but I am 99% sure that the only way to get teen
participants onto your closed teen grid island is via RegAPI.
It is possible that if you have a chosen surname that process will tie
them to the estate but I'm not confident that this is the case (in
fact I'm fairly sure it's not).
You can, in addition, create adult accounts and have them transferred
to your island on the teen grid by Linden Lab. This is useful for
teachers etc. particularly if, like me, you're a content creator - I
can load up on textures and goodies from the main grid (all suitably
PG of course) and then jump over. Given I'm doing this with about 25k
textures it's saving me L$250k in upload fees and some horrendous
amount of time. L$ might not be worth that much, but that's still £600
or so I'm saving, well worth it.
