Dear all,
the GridPP PMB has decided we should convert all the accounting records
in spec2006 and use the converted numbers to distribute the money. To
do that we should run a script written by Mike Kenion distributed to
tb-support. I put it on my web page for convenience.

The original email with the explanations is here
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=ind0906&L=TB-SUPPORT&T=0&O=D&P=16827
The script in the email has a minor bug as it doesn't convert in hours.
I corrected the line in the scirpt in my page. You'll need to use the
spec2006 values that you should have by now. They are hardcoded in the
script, the lines to change are 289 and 290.
I have a meeting on friday to discuss the results so it would be good to
get the numbers be thursday morning so I can put things together. If you
don't have the logs anymore please let me know that we take the numbers
from apel and if you don't have the spec2006 number we will have to use
a rough conversion (spec2000/4=spec2006 I'm told). The aim is to have a
table like scotgrid one:

If you are asking yourself why we are doing this we are on the same
boat. Apparently the spec2000 values we have been using for the past 4
years aren't good enough.
cheers
alessandra
