It is a great pleasure to invite you to the International Conference on “Global
trends in the Efficiency and Risk Management of Financial Services and the
Financial Crisis” which will be hosted by the Efficiency and Productivity
Research Unit, University of Leicester School of Management, United Kingdom
on 14-15 November, 2009.
The Conference is organised by the UKEPAN (UK Efficiency & Productivity
Analysis Network) with the aim to provide a forum for debate among
international researchers and policy makers.

The Conference programme also includes round-table meetings to establish a
European Network on Financial efficiency with an aim for the group to
eventually set up a European project within the Seventh Framework program
(FP7).
Professor Iftekhar Hasan (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (New York)) - Lally
School of Management & Technology, RPI, US) is the keynote speaker of the
Conference.
