Re the date of these p.graphs., it is interesting to note that there is a
date chalked or white washed on one of the cross-timbers stating 10 Dec
1890 (on the Link posted to the List). It doesn't look to be a photographers
date mark... though it could be?!
Whatever the mark has been made in it does look rather 'fresh' and clear,
but whether this demonstrates the date of this p.graph. (or all of them), I
must leave to others more advised than I ! - whatever be the case though, I
think that c.1900 can be said to be a very safe date!
