The UK Film Council, the Department of Media Arts at Royal Holloway and
the Department of History of Art and Screen Media at Birkbeck will be
co-hosting a seminar on Friday 27 November at the University of London
to discuss the UK Film Council report "The Cultural Impact of UK Film
1946-2006". The purpose of the seminar is to discuss the strengths and
weaknesses of the reports' methods and findings, and to consider ways in
which research in this area might be further developed. The report

The seminar will be held at the Clore Management Centre, University of
London and a fulll programme will be circulated once contributors are
confirmed
