We're migrating from one to the other, but the info provider should
publish tags from both places. One thing to be aware of is that sites
often have special treatment to keep a backup of the tag directories, or
to mount them across several head nodes, and if so that should be
applied to the new directories too.
The reason the tag location is now published as a service
(RTEPublisher) is that we want to have the ability to split it from the
CE and put it on a different machine. Also there is now some support for
using https rather than gridftp to write the tags. However, as long as
it stays the way we had it in the past, i.e. a gridftp server on the CE,
then it should continue to be compatible with the old clients.
Incidentally, the <cename> you have in the path above is in fact
<subclustername>, i.e. the new system allows publication of tags for
multiple subclusters, e.g. SL4 and SL5, from a single node.
