Hi all,
I'm trying to run SPEC2006 on SL5 x86_64.
model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU L5420 @ 2.50GHz
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Scientific Linux SL release 5.2 (Boron)
I followed
https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/FIOgroup/TsiBenchHEPSPEC and I got
this error:
Error running runspec tests. See the following file(s) for details about
tests that failed:
runspec-test.linux-suse101-AMD64.out
runspec-test.linux-suse101-i386.out
runspec-test.linux-redhat62-ia32.out
We do not appear to have working vendor-supplied binaries for your
architecture. You will have to compile the tool binaries by
yourself. Please read the file
/home/tmp/SPEC2006_v11/Docs/tools_build.html
for instructions on how you might be able to build them.
Please only attempt this as a last resort.
SPECint install failed!
So, I'm reading SPEC2006_v11/Docs/tools-build.html but I'm wondering if
I'm doing it well as above link does not talk about building your own
tools... and if I build the tools they will be 64 bits binaries and not
32 as desired...
So, anyone who already ran spec2006 on sl5 could give some advice,
pleasE? Or a link to someone who could give me support?
the hepix cpu benchmark working group should have a mailing list, but
the link is broken:
in
https://hepix.caspur.it/processors/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=benchmarks:introduction
this link:

TIA,
Arnau
