Hi all,
cheap plot trick one, 'extraordinary coincidence'. Isn't this the form of narrative, life is full of happenstance, it is only in
retrospect that narrative occurs. I could explain the narrative of how I went from being a freight guard on the railways to a
senior lecturer in film studies almost entirely in terms of happenstance and coincidence. Narrative is more than just plot isn't
it?
