Submit an entry for the Scottish e-Assessment Awards
If you have been working with e-Assessment over the last academic year (’08-’09), then why not submit an entry to the Scottish e-Assessment Awards (http://tinyurl.com/nuhz3o)? The Awards recognise excellence and innovation in using e-Assessment to improve the educational experience of learners and is open to products or services developed or being used in Scotland.
The winning entries will be announced at this year’s e-Assessment Scotland conference (www.e-assessment-scotland.org), which is being held at the Hilton hotel in Dundee on September the 25th. There’s a waiting list for places, but those short-listed for the awards will be invited to attend.
Organised into the following categories, the Awards cover:
• Formative e-Assessment
• Summative e-Assessment
• e-Portfolio/ePDP
• Mobile e-Assessment
• e-Assessment Administration
There will also be a special award for Innovation presented to one of the finalists highlighting an example of best practice in e-Assessment, which clearly demonstrates the full potential of the technology and its practical application.
Full details of the Awards and criteria for entry can be found on the conference website.
To submit an entry, just send a copy of the completed application form (http://tinyurl.com/mzjlwb) to [log in to unmask] by the 10th of September, 2009.
