Hello,
we just came across some weird behaviour of analysis2.0.7 build 4543
running on windows XP.
We are typically storing spectra on a server and mount the server
as a network drive(SAMBA).
We tried to open a few spectra when the following error occurs (popup):
The chosen data file does not exist (or exists and is not a file).
Go back (otherwise continues)? Yes/No
Until then analysis correctly interpreted the file (size, endian...)
In the command shell it becomes evident that something is going very wrong:
>>> Warning: spectrum (Expt_1, Ca1.1_Acm2N): data file
S:/pectra-ucsf/Ca1.1_Acm2N.ucsf not accessible
Spectrum successfully opened
Warning: spectrum (Expt_1, Ca1.1_Acm2N): data file
S:/pectra-ucsf/Ca1.1_Acm2N.ucsf not accessible
finished opening spectrum Expt_1 Ca1.1_Acm2N
Warning: spectrum (Expt_2, Ca1.1_Acm2T): data file
S:/ectra-ucsf/Ca1.1_Acm2T.ucsf not accessible
Spectrum successfully opened
Somehow part of the path are omitted it should be
S:/spectra-ucsf/...
but the leading letters somehow get are truncated progressively
with each new spectrum that we try to load.
Spectra stored locally on C:/ work fine but storing all data on
the local drive is not an option. Links to the spectra do not
work either.
The linux version of analysis loads these spectra without complaints.
Kind regards,
Jan
