Hello,
Well that's a new one for us. I'm not positive what the problem is
but hopefully we can figure it out.
The reason just typing "analysis" did not work (and I forgot this twist in
the story) is that the current working directory (so "." in the jargon) is
not on your path. Hence having to type "./analysis".
I assume that the analysis script looks like:
#!/bin/csh
setenv CCPNMR_TOP_DIR /home/wb104/ccpnmr_64
setenv PYTHONPATH .:${CCPNMR_TOP_DIR}/ccpnmr2.0/python
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/usr/X11R6/lib64:/home/wb104/ccpnmr_64/tcl8.5/lib:/home/wb104/ccpnmr_64/tk8.5/lib
setenv TCL_LIBRARY /home/wb104/ccpnmr_64/tcl8.5/lib/tcl8.5
setenv TK_LIBRARY /home/wb104/ccpnmr_64/tk8.5/lib/tk8.5
/home/wb104/ccpnmr_64/python2.5/bin/python2.5 -i -O
${CCPNMR_TOP_DIR}/ccpnmr2.0/python/ccpnmr/analysis/AnalysisGui.py $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6
except that "/home/wb104/ccpnmr_64" has been (hopefully) replaced with the
directory where you put ccpnmr. So a few things to try:
Just try (at the operating system prompt):
/bin/csh
to see if that works. (That will start up a new shell so if it works at
the end of the test below you can type "exit" to get back to your original
shell.)
If that works then try the above setenv commands one after the other until
you get a failure (well, the first one is likely to fail, if any of them
do). So first do:
setenv CCPNMR_TOP_DIR /home/wb104/ccpnmr_64
(where use the correct path found in the analysis script). Etc. (until
one fails).
Another thing you could try is to replace /bin/csh with /bin/tcsh in the
first line of the analysis script and try that, but I'd be amazed if that
works.
Let us know how you get on.
Also, if you know, what flavour of Linux (e.g. Suse 10, Ubuntu 8, etc.)
are you running?
