The AEGIS Project www.aegis-project.eu is addressing this for a range
of mobiles (but not the iPhone) which have open operating systems. One
idea is to implement some sort of Bluetooth switch input like that
already used by Prentke-Romich.
The project has another 2.5 years to run and the development cycle is
just starting. We need users and experts to test and advise on the
prototypes so any volunteers welcome.
