I would be wary of using the Tira ... Home-Electro (http://www.home-
electro.com) as the manufacturers of this product do not seem to be
maintaining the Tira ...
I have sought support from them over the past 3
weeks and Home-Electro have not replied to a single message other than the
first email that I sent to advise them that their web-site required attention.
In addition, Home-Electro have not released an updated driver for use with
Girder 5 (http://www.promixis.com/girder.php). Girder 5 has been available for
just over a year now.
I may yet be sending the Tira back ...
The issue was raised with Sensory Software / SmartBoxAT at the end of
last week.
Sensory Software / SmartBoxAT said that they would check the situation
and reply in due course.
My advice is to go with the USB-UIRT (http://www.usbuirt.com/) instead -
this IR transceiver can also be used with The Grid and is also obtainable from
Sensory Software / SmartBoxAT.
