Hi Barry
Gewa ProgIII would seems a reasonable solution if you can source one. You
can use Grid to activate individual Prog functions via the send IR utility.
You could use grid to create a phone book and store the numbers as macros on
the Prog. If he is such a high level user, he could probably manage the
phone book himself and even create the macros using the gewa windows
utility.
Not sure how this approach would work with a Control Prog though. You
certainly can't create macros using the Gewacontroltool and I don't even now
if sendIR will work.
We have also had some limited success with the Tira
(http://www.home-electro.com ), which we purchased from Smartbox, but it
seems to have problems learning multiple Gewa link codes.
Cheers

Subject: pc user
Dear all
I'm working with a tetra who is an intensive computer user. Looks like
he's pretty good on integramouse plus VR. I've not had much recent
experience with this level of computer user so:
1. What are people using for environmental control by PC. Is Grid as
good as anything?
2. Is there something that keeps a phone book on pc & does the dialling.
All I can find is auto diallers aimed at the annoying telesales firms.
