University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing
together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion,
communication and performing arts.
Information Services is a University wide department delivering high quality
services in support of teaching, learning and research through Library and
Learning Resources and IT Services.
Learning Resources Manager | £40,858 - £49,257 (potential for contribution
pay up to £54,896) | London College of Communication
You will lead and manage a large local team and ensure the effective delivery
of a high quality customer-focused library and open access IT service at an
internationally renowned educational institution for arts, design and
communication.
Developing the local service in response to the changing profile of the College
community and its academic plans you will represent Information Services on a
range of committees. Working closely with Senior Managers you will contribute
to the vision and strategic direction of the Information Services department
and lead on specific developments associated with our academic services.
As an experienced librarian, you will have an understanding of developments in
learning, teaching and research including e-learning, as well as the skills to
develop team members’ abilities to attain greater levels of achievement. An
arts librarian background would be useful, though it is more important that you
can meet the demands of a dynamic, innovative and creative community.
