£29,704 - £35,469 per annum * Applications will be considered from
candidates with less experience/knowledge of the area for appointment on
Grade 5, Salary range £24,152 - £28,839 per annum, with the duties to be
agreed and altered accordingly.
This is a one year post, starting as soon as possible. You should hold
(or be about to obtain) a postgraduate degree in Statistics or a closely
related discipline, should have teaching experience, and a commitment to
educate and inform. You will join a thriving Statistics Division in the
School of Mathematics and Statisitics, with particular strength in the
area of Statistical Ecology. The School was rated Excellent in the last
Teaching Quality Assessment and is Top in Scotland in the 2009 Guardian
and Times University Guides.
