We did a nice one for the Black Country Museum's Workers' Institute
exhibition, primarily to provide visual access to the upper floors of
a historic building, that could not practically provide wheelchair
access.
It's web browser based and uses a java plugin. We photographed the
rooms, stitched the images together and added hotspots for the
paintings on the wall that linked to the browser based exhibition for
details.
We also installed live web cams for each room, so that a live view
could be shared too.
I'd be happy to discuss in detail, contact me off-list.
