Absolutely, Andreas - euroCRIS is heavily involved in this area .. Chris
Baars from the Netherlands presented on the DAI at the euroCRIS seminar
in Brussels earlier this month.
Also there is euroCRIS representation on the Knowledge Exchange CRIS-OAR
project that Rosemary Russell mentions.
At St Andrews we have built our own CRIS which integrates with our Open
Access repository -> pushing metadata including staff identifiers
through from the CRIS to the Repository. We are in the process of moving
this functionality to a third party system, PURE from atira.dk, which
will take us forward towards REF.
For info, the next euroCRIS membership meeting is being held here in St
Andrews from Nov 11-13th .. further details at eurocris.org
There is no fee for the meeting .. although you have to be a member to
attend .. but then its not very expensive ;) [see the website]
Also .. any interested parties from UK HEIs are welcome as visitors to
attend.
Let me know off list and I can send through the draft agenda.
Regards
Anna
