Dear Antanas,
The onset value is the time when some activity reaches the cortex (i.
e. the node to which you connect this input). There is no propagation
delay between the input and its target. This prior is not very tight,
but if you know that it's 80 rather than 60 you can change it. As long
as all your models have the same onset prior but differ in
connectivity there is no problem. Also if something is not modelled
because of the onset you will easily see it as the DCM output before
the onset is flat. In that case you need to move the onset to an
earlier time.
Best,
Vladimir
