Two postgraduate practitioner research studentships (part-time), Centre
for Social Justice and Community Action, Durham University
Two research studentships are available for part-time study in the
recently established Centre for Social Justice and Community Action.
These studentships will suit people working in the broad field of
community action and engagement, and who wish to study for a research
degree on a part-time basis whilst working. This includes people working
in voluntary or statutory sector organisations in community development,
youth work, health, social care, community planning, for example. Two
scholarships are available covering tuition fees for: 1) Master of
Professional Practice (MProf, part-time, two years); 2) PhD
(part-time, six years). The studentships can commence either on 1st
October 2009, or 1st January 2010. Closing date: Tuesday 1st September
2009 .
