seymour, i'm afraid i didn't understand your message very
well.
you see, i'm not very smart.
the cabral poems i like the most are the ones in which he
is not too smart, yet inspired: o cão sem plumas, jogos
frutais, and, as a book, a educação pela pedra, for most of its poems.
many people in this list really like poetry.
the lowell poem i like the most is man and wife, which
is formally neither conservative nor progressive, but charged prose.
but i prefer poems that are a bit more than charged prose (like so much in
shakespeare).
