We have an ancient small settlement in our parish (on Tamar Valley in East Cornwall) called Crockett - have wondered if it meant 'little bowl' or what ?
Near to Holmbush and Redmoor Mines at Kelly Bray.
Is the Crockett in your question a person ? an emigrant from here ?
