No, he is the Valerianus of 15. September, the date under which he is entered both in the (pseudo-)Hieronymian Martyrology and in Usuard explicitly as a martyr of Tournus. His brief, hastily written notice in last year's "saints of the day" for 15. September is here:

The datum that he came from Lyon appears in his legendary Passiones as well as in that of St. Marcellus of Chalon and serves to connect him both with Marcellus (the saint of a nearby martyrial church paired with that of V. by St. Gregory of Tours [_In gloria martyrum_, 53]) and with the famous martyrs of primatial Lyon. The legend in question, which has both saints suffer under the same Roman official during the persecution of Marcus Aurelius, was already known to Usuard. I see little reason to follow Holly Hayes (the author the Sacred Destinations page noted above) in accepting its accuracy on this point.
