Hi Cristiano,
RDFa is a W3C recommendation (see http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/wiki/RDFa) so the about attribute should be fine in a document using the XHTML+RDFa doctype. That is, I don't think you need your own custom dtd to define the new attributes.
