Dear Malcolm
This hint that you might be back in business reminds me that I have a
package of Hackney Historys sitting in a tray waiting to despatch! I can get
it out this week if that suits, otherwise it would have to wait for ten
days, but ni matter, it can sit there until this year's lot come to lay
claim to the space in late November ...
I hope the exhbibition went well and that you have had a good summer
Isobel

Subject: [LOCAL-HISTORY] Victorian Cash register keys
The keys of a Victorian cash register used in the Glasgow Corporation baths
and wash-houses include a row marked:
Bath cubes, Shampoo, Luma, Washing machine, Stall, and Drying machine.
Does anyone know what luma and stall might mean in this context?
Many thanks for any help
Malcolm
