Skills for Government Information Professionals - NGLIS 'Getting to Know You' Day
NGLIS (the Network of Government Library and Information Specialists) is delighted to announce a 1-day course designed for librarians and information professionals in their early years in the Government sector. Practioners from a range of Departments will introduce delegates to the variety of information jobs available in Government Departments and agencies. In the afternoon, a panel of expert speakers will facilitate an interactive discussion on the Government Competencies Framework, offering advice, guidance and ideas on how you can shape your career in the sector. The course will provide delegates with a clear insight into the knowledge and skills they need to gain for their current and future jobs.
