More details: A double-sided Serota display unit measuring 2150mm H x
3403mm W x 500mm D. The unit is constructed from 19mm (shelves) and 26mm
(sides) board with veneer in light oak, with a solid oak ledge on each
shelf and clean finished edges (part knock down construction). There are
three bays on each side and each bay is fitted (i.e. display only, no
storage behind the shelves) with 6 fixed sloping display shelves (i.e. 36
shelves in total). One end of the unit has a plain flat panel, the other
end has a slatted panel allowing for the attachment of hanging
leaflet/book holders (see images). The perspex holders are readily
available from most library suppliers. The unit is of very high quality
and was custom built by Serota (www.serota.co.uk ) in 1999. It is in good
condition with only slight marks where labels have been affixed to the
shelves (see images) and these should clean off with some 'sticky stuff
remover'.
If you require any further information please contact us. Please also feel
free to pass the details on to anyone off-list who you think may be
interested.
Due to a library refurbishment programme, we are likely to have additional
bookcases available later in the year so watch this space!
All the best,
Kate Brunskill
