italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Maurizio Carbone (University of Glasgow) and Jim Newell (University of Salford) are pleased to announce the launch of a new journal, the Bulletin of Italian Politics (ISNN: 1759-3077), details of which can be found here: www.gla.ac.uk/bip
Aimed at academics and policy makers, the Bulletin seeks, among other things, to fill the gap between newspaper articles on the one hand (often unable to provide much depth) and conventional academic journal articles on the other (often unable to analyse the most recent specific events).
The first issue includes articles by Leonardo Morlino, Sergio Fabbrini, Carlo Fusaro and Lucia Quaglia; it also includes opinion pieces, book reviews, a roundtable and announcements.
Offers of articles dealing with any aspect of Italian politics, Italian public policy or comparative politics topics involving Italy are welcome.
