Martin

Thank you very much for your time this afternoon discussing the EU
funded Border Management Programme in Jakarta.

As discussed we are looking for an in country Team Leader. Just to
provide you with some background, Crown Agents were awarded the contract
for the EU-funded Integrated Border Management Programme in December
2008 and started the Inception Phase in January 2009. This Inception
Phase is now complete, with the Inception Report, Annual Work Plan and
Overall Work Plan recently submitted. We need the new Team Leader to
commit to the 555 days remaining on the programme over a period of 2.5
years. This equates to a distribution of approximately 115 days this
year before the 31st December and 220 days per year in 2010 and 2011,
though there is a little flexibility.

We need to submit a CV in EC format very soon for evaluation and
approval (which can take a few weeks), the selection criteria for this
are very tight, but in short we are looking for someone with good
knowledge of Border Management, a Masters degree (which is a must),
along with knowledge of the ASEAN and EU regional integration policies
and delivery of similar technical assistance projects. I have attached
the TOR for this Team Leader role for your initial information. As
discussed, please feel free to refer this to your Border Management
discussion group or other suitably qualified colleagues, who may be
interested and qualified for this interesting position. I would be more
than happy to discuss this with anyone who may wish to give me a call on
the number below.

The selected expert would then need to be able to mobilise to Jakarta
almost immediately upon approval by the EU Delegation of their
qualifications.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and attachment and I
look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks again & best wishes

Keith
