Hi Frank
The key Australian document is 'the national statement on the ethical
conduct in human research
http://www.nhmrc.gov.au/guidelines/ethics/human_research/index.htm
Which covers all university and NHMRC publicly funded (bio medical
)research on humans. Personally I thinks it needs review from a
disability studies point of view but it is an improvement on what was
before.
I will only add one more general reference to counter balance the
stress in the literature on Nazi experimentation.A history of 'westen'
experimentation contemporary with development of the ethical codes
