Hi David,
Yes - I've used those before while conducting research at the WAC. I was hoping to access some other source, perhaps on line, for those names that pop up later while reviewing my notes!
Thanks...!

Darren,
The most accessible 'who's who' of BBC management might well be the BBC's annual 'Year Books' (later retitled 'Handbooks'), which list senior staff - though the time of publication means that you need to be careful about who is doing what when: the 1971 Year Book, for instance, really tells you who was doing what in 1970. Etc.
Hope this helps.
Best,
David.

Subject: [BBC-HISTORY] best source for BBC names
Everyone,
As I've written before, I'm running into a slight problem with some of the hand-written notes from WAC archives. While I have copies of staff listings for various years, there are still specific personnel that escape me.
Can someone recommend a good site that offers a kind of Who's Who for BBC management? The BBC site itself can be somewhat awkward and historiographically challenged....
