Course aims
* Increase awareness and understanding of advanced statistical
procedures appropriate to the analysis of health research data
* Give students the ability to apply these methods using appropriate
software (SPSS and STATA)
Content
* Analysis of variance (ANOVA)
* Pearson, Spearman and Kappa correlation coefficients
* Bland and Altman method of assessing agreement
* Multiple logistic regression
* Survival analysis and meta analysis
Target audience
* Health-care professionals or graduate students with some research
experience and an understanding of basic statistical principles
