Yes, that will still be required to pick up the correct Tcl libraries.
Thank goodness Java and X11 don't depend on those, or we wouldn't make any
progress.

That means you're using a older version of Java than was used for the
compilation. Update your default Java so you are using the 64bit version
of 1.6. That looks like:
