The day will take place at one of the Institute of Archaeology's labs, giving delegates the opportunity to really see which insects and pests may be 'living' with their collection.
At the end of the course delegates will:
* Know the main groups and species of pest insects which are found in museums, historic houses, archives, and collections.
* Identify the main beetle pests and their larvae.
* Identify the main moth species and their larvae.
* Recognise other pests such as silverfish and booklice.
